2012 marked the first volume of Precipice: The Literary Anthology of Write on Edge.
Precipice represents our commitment to our writer-members. We want to bring you not only the tools and support to make your writing shine, but a platform upon which to showcase it.
Released in partnership with Bannerwing Books on October 30, 2012, Precipice featured twenty-one short stories and essays by seventeen authors from the Write on Edge community.

Precipice, Volume 2 is open for submissions through April 30th, 2013.
The theme of this year’s collection is Luck.

We welcome submissions from all writers in nearly all genres of fiction (no erotica, please, though adult themes and content are acceptable), non-fiction, and poetry.
By submitting your memoir/creative non-fiction piece to Precipice: The Write on Edge Literary Review, you grant Write On Edge (http://writeonedge.com) first print and ebook publishing rights to your material. Write On Edge will not claim or retain your copyright.
Material must be original and previously unpublished (with exceptions granted to personal blogs), and edited to professional standards. Write On Edge reserves the right to edit for grammatical/punctuation errors.
Word limit for all submissions is 3000. Submissions close April 30, 2013. Submissions this year are limited to one piece per author IN EACH CATEGORY.
Personal information about authors will be invisible to the judging panel. In this spirit, please do not include your contact information inside your submission document.
Submission does not guarantee publication. Authors will be notified electronically as to the status of their submission no later than June 1, 2013. All authors with pieces included in the collection will receive an ebook copy free of charge.

Formatting guidelines:
- please do not include your name in the body of the submission
- .doc format
- Double spaced
- Times New Roman
- 12 point
- Right-justified header with page numbers in the following style: TITLE / PAGE NUMBER
