The nice thing about a 160-character limit is that it makes it possible to read every entry. I almost never have time to do that!

I loved this prompt. Fear, and what elicits it, is extremely personal, and the most basic of our human existence. Regardless of what we write, we cannot help but draw on our own experiences in order to summon the emotion. Fantastic job everyone!

I froze as he knelt before me. He offered me a diamond ring and whispered the two words I wasn’t ready to hear. “Marry me?”
Nice twist on the usually happy concept!
