FUN!! I will be writing for the second photo, hands down. One of my favorite places on earth. Thanks!
Yay! I spent a few days in New Orleans before getting engaged (at Nottoway Plantation, a little outside of the city). I loved it there.
I’m a little intimidated, but I think I’ll go for the first one.
Don’t be intimidated. It’s truly a very supportive community; I can’t wait to read what you’ve written. I can’t imagine the rest of the house surrounding a staircase like that
I think intimidation can be a great motivator!
Agreed!
The first picture is really intriguing, but I think I’ll have to go with the second as well. Although, as I spent my morning walk brainstorming without knowing where it was, it’ll be placed somewhat differently. After all, the prompt says “inspired by,” not “conforming to.”
Oh, sometimes my prompts are much more “loosely based on” than “comforming to”. Wherever it made you think of, then that is the perfect setting for your piece!
WOW!! These are gorgeous photos!! I love the ideas that are springing to mind already. I feel something new coming on.
Can’t wait to see what you come up with!
